The Philips Epiq 7 is a premium shared service ultrasound imaging system offering xMatrix and Purewave single crystal probes, a compact and lightweight design and superior ergonomics and workflow. The key technology found on the Epiq 7 is “nSIGHT” representing a significant difference in penetration, resolution, and processing power over previous ultrasounds. The Epiq 7 replaced the older Philips iE33 but is shared service rather than only cardiovascular. The Epiq 7 has a wide range of probes suitable for clinical applications including, OB/Gyn, Vascular, Cardiac, Small parts, Musculoskeletal, Paediatrics, Urology, Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography, Transoesophageal Echocardiography, Interventional Imaging and Contrast. All the Epiq ultrasound machines look visually very similar and use the same monitor and huge tablet like touchscreen for navigation.
