Modality Group Ltd: The new name for Advanced Ultrasound Electronics (AUE Ltd).
AUE Ltd is now part of Modality Group Ltd. This represents a continued expansion of the group into sales, rental and maintenance of all medical imaging modalities. Headquarters will remain in Loughborough, UK.
AUE customers are familiar with our high-quality standards and dedication to outstanding customer service, which will continue under the wing of Modality Group’ commented Carl Bowtell, Managing Director.
“The move is a natural progression, with the name ‘Modality’ representing our provision of all imaging diagnostic modalities: CT, MRI, Ultrasound and X-ray imaging modalities. All our details can now be found on NHS Supply Chain as Modality”.

Carl Bowtell is joined by an experienced team that have over 50 years’ experience in the medical imaging field:
John Dickinson is Director of Business Development and brings with him a wealth of industry experience and a proven record of working hard for his customers. John is a qualified Radiographer by background. On the changeover to Modality, John told us, ‘I’m really looking forward to making a difference and helping healthcare providers in the UK achieve their goals.’
He is also joined by Ashley Bick as Business Development Manager. With 13 years of medical industry experience, Ashely specialises in imaging service contracts and has a track record of enabling Trusts to achieve cost savings without sacrificing quality. ‘I am dedicated to applying my insights from previous roles to enhance Modality’s offering. The company’s steadfast commitment to delivering reliable service at a fair price while maintaining quality aligns with my professional values.’
